I weave gemstone beads onto leather thongs to
create "stone tapestry" bracelets which are unique in the U.K. The original
design for these was by my American cousin Claire who sells them on Rodeo
Drive in Los Angeles to well-known folk such as Cheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks
of Fleetwood Mac. Claire was kind enough to allow me to start making these
bracelets in Scotland. The bracelets are flexible and lie flat against your
wrist making them very comfortable to wear.
I too am flexible, being happy to alter any of
my designs to fit your particular requirements - longer or shorter, black or
natural thong, sterling silver or gold plated findings, lobster claw or
magnetic clasp. The latter are an excellent choice for anyone who has
difficulty with their hands, such as rheumatism or MS, however they should
not be worn by anyone with a cardiac pacemaker! I guarantee my work for 2
